India: CPI(M) call for revised Food Security Bill

The CPI(M) recently criticized the Food   Security Bill by the government in its present form and demanded that the   government bring a new and revised legislation in the monsoon parliamentary   session. The party said that the government was doing away with the PDS system   instead of making it efficient, and was in fact exporting the grains that   should be given out to people.
