| Cameroon, as most of Africa has abundant natural resources, and can potentially provide for itself during times of crises, but is unable to do so because most of the food is exported while Northern Cameroon suffers from food insecurity . The food exported is done so in its original form as Cameroon lacks the infrastructure to process food, and the same food comes back to the Cameroonian markets.
