Cameroon: Food insecurity in Africa, and how the situation can be bettered

Cameroon, as most of Africa has abundant   natural resources, and can potentially provide for itself during times of   crises, but is unable to do so because most of the food is exported while   Northern Cameroon suffers from food insecurity . The food exported is done so   in its original form as Cameroon lacks the infrastructure to process food,   and the same food comes back to the Cameroonian markets. The acute situation   of food insecurity persists, according to experts, because of people cannot   process and store their food. Read more here.
