India-Japan research team breaks through to achieve solar cell efficiency

Solar panels are still low on efficiency, with a lot of energy being lost as sunlight is converted to energy. Now, there is some good news on this front, from an Indo-Japanese research team which has reported a boost in efficiency of a DSSC (dye sensitized solar cells) of as much as 11.4 per cent.
