India: 4 million youth to be given vocational training in the 12th Plan
According to the MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise) Secretary, R.K. Mathur, some 4 million youth will be education in vocational fields according to directives in the 12th Plan. Of these, 600,000 will be educated this year. Mr Mathur called on the private sector to engage in training activities as well, and revealed that the Centre had plans to train 500 million people by 2022.Read more here.
