Ghana has been suffering from erratic rainfall and hence   low food productivity in the past couple of years – this has led families   to adopt “one-zero-one strategy” for their children, and “zero-zero-one   strategy” for themselves. They are barely surviving due to lack of food, and   rates of malnutrition and poverty rates are high. Read more here.
