WFP needs US$48 million to feed Malawi

UN’s WFP (World Food Programme) agency   recently announced that to be able to feed a sizeable proportion of the   hunger and food insecurity affected people in Malawi (about 11 per cent of   the total population), it would need about US$48 million. It also estimates a   rise in aid assistance early next year. Read more here.
