Rwanda’s solar potential assessed
International charity GVEP which promotes economic enhancement of developing country population through access to clean energy has recently released a report on the off-grid electricity potential in Rwanda. About 85 per cent of Rwandan population is isolated from the grid. The awareness and economic levels are low, but the report predicts a potential for off-grid solution.
