The government of the newly independent country of South   Sudan has set its sights on making the country food secure through a number   of community based projects. Groups of farmers armed with support from the   WFP, South Sudan’s ministry of agriculture, and FAO are leading the way to   making the country one of the youngest countries to set its sights on   complete food security.
