Ghana: National strategy for community participation in WASH programme launched

In Ghana, about 51 per cent of the people live in urban areas, and of these, about 62 per cent do not have access to improved water supply. Now, the National Strategy for Community Participation in Urban WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Services is being launched on a national scale in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, CHF International and USAID.
