India: Starving slum dwellers dig up and eat rotten grain buried by FCI

1,206 bags of   PDS rice belonging to the FCI (Food Corporation of India) were supposed to   feed the poor but instead got wrapped in red-tape tussles between the railway   and other authorities, and were ultimately buried after being rotten.   However, they are now being dug up by slum dwellers in the Indian state of   Odisha driven by extreme hunger.
