Post election in March 2010, the turmoil that rocked Kenya also left people bereft of access to ICT services. In recognition of this, an ICT Hotpot, iHub was formed just outside of Nairobi. The iHub connects people for networking, collaborative projects, and consulting to promote research (through the hub’s research and consulting arm) into applications and potential of ICT in the base of the pyramid.
