Novo Nordisk to get healthworkers for diabetes care for the poor at their doorsteps

Novo Nordisk, the Danish company which has a majority share in India’s insulin market is planning to employ more doctors, pharmacists and community healthworkers to provide diabetes care at the doorstep of the poor. Novo Nordisk will be leveraging existing network of healthcare institutions, and this programme is primarily targeted at daily wage workers. Read more here.
