India: Children under 5 in India most vulnerable in the world

The UNICEF 2011 report showed that the number of deaths among children under fice years of age was highest in India. This number persists despite the number of efforts by the Indian Government. A WHO representative insisted that numbers were high because of the high overall population of India, while another social activist is of the opinion that maternal health and malnutrition are to blame for this.
