Embarrassing malnutrition figures of Gujarat, India

While Gujarat is debatably termed one of the most progressive Indian states, the malnutrition and hunger numbers within the states speak of an alternate reality, which the Chief Minister of the state hastily described as a ‘diet fad’. As many as 38.1 per cent of urban children in Gujarat are underweight and 38.5 per cent are stunted. Read more here.
