At the inauguaration of the newly constructed National Institute of Neuroscience and Hospital at Agargaon in Dhaka, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina urged the doctors in the country to be more dedicated and sincere in providing healthcare to the people in the rural parts of Bangladesh who cannot afford to travel to Dhaka to get themselves treated, and asked the doctors to give up their reluctance to practice in rural areas.
