At 217 million, India’s malnutrition numbers highest in the world

According to the recently released UN report   which revised the number of hungry people in the world from 1 billion to 870   million also gave key insight into the number of malnourished people in India   standing at 217 million. This number is highest in the world, and India is   being clubbed with countries like Congo, Namibia and others, which FAO   predict will not achieve their nutrition MDG (Millennium Development Goal).   Read more here.
