UN expert on housing – “Fewer housing opportunities for the world’s poor”
Raquel Rolnik, the UN Special Rapporteur on housing, said that the housing support in the world today is more housing finance oriented, which is not a correct solution for the world’s homeless poor. She commented that the global policies regarding housing were mostly unhelpful for the poor and should be steered away from being based on housing credit. Read more here.
