Pakistan: Water, sanitation and hygiene for women in Sindh

According to Lakshmi Puri, Deputy Executive Director of UN for Women, women spend more than 200 million hours a day collecting water world-over. Her statement is concurrent to the conditions in Sindh, Pakistan, where women and girls must travel as far as 7 kilometres away from their houses to collect water. No development for women is possible as long as these metrics stay intact.
