Africa: How development targets ride on Vitamin A

As many as 190 million (more than the populations of Germany, France and Poland combined) children in the world suffer from the deficiency of Vitamin A, a key micronutrient. This causes blindness in as many as 250000 to 500000 of these children every year. India represents 37 per cent of the victims of Vitamin A deficiency. Read more here.
