Clean water project in Africa to generate 500,000 carbon credits

The Kenya Clean Water Project is an initiative started by US based company Native Energy, in collaboration with Triple Quest, has successfully been generating carbon credits, as part of a large programme implemented across several African countries. The programme works by way of reducing the amount of wood used by locals to boil and purify water. Instead, Hydraid’s BioSand water filters have been distributed to the locals. Read more here.
