India: Most poor willing to pay INR 300,000 for houses

Most buyers from the economically weaker section (EWS) are willing to pay INR 300,000 initially and prefer a two-room-kitchen accommodation, a survey on affordable housing shows. They are even willing to pay extra for exclusive toilet and extra electricity points, the survey findings reveal. This survey was conducted on 12,000 people and 200 builders in cities of Maharashtra, India. Read more here.
