India: Providing remote medical care in inaccessible areas

This post looks at the initiatives that India has taken to kickstart the use of telemedicine to scale access to healthcare for the poor in the remotest corners of the country. For India, where 70 per cent of its population lives in rural areas where medical care is hard to access, the need for telemedicine is great. However, proper implementation has not been mapped yet.
