India: SSA’s e-governance project launched
Indian government’s education for all project, called SSA or Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan has used information from its field officers through written paper documents. However, in the Indian city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, pilot projects for e-governance have been launched, which reduce a number of errors and shortens the time period required. Read more here.
