The Rift Valley in Kenya has favourable climatic conditions for the cultivation of horticultural plants. However, this opportunity is only now being leveraged by USAID’s Kenya Horticultural Competitiveness Program (USAID-KHCP). USAID-KHCP is partnering with cargo handling export company Canken International Limited to export a variety of high quality fruits and vegetables to the European and Middle East countries.
