A water treatment system using salt and electricity to clean water

GE engineers Steve Froelicher and Sam DuPlessis, along with other volunteers, at the request of WaterStep, a non-profit have designed a rugged and portable water purification system that works on an age old principle – electrolysis. This process only uses electricity and table salt to produce chlorine which can disinfect water. Read more here.
