Household fuels, low birth weight, and neonatal death in India: The separate impacts of biomass, kerosene, and coal

This study indicates that household use of high-pollution fuels is significantly associated with increased chances of low birth weight, and neonatal death. Results indicate – coal increases risk of neonatal death, and biomass increases the same for infants born to women with no more than primary education. Read the report here.
