‘Shaping the Future – Realising the potential of informal learning through mobile’

This news GSMA reports’s objective is to prove the merit of mobile as a tool of achieving education in emerging markets and developing countries. It follows a diverse group of young people from Ghana, Morocco, Uganda and India through their lives to discover critical information – like how just one-fourth of the people surveyed named the classroom as their primary source of education. However, another key finding states that though progressive use in on the rise, some services are expensive and hence the underserved are not able to benefit. Read the report here.
