eLearning Africa Report 2012

This is a report by eLearning Africa, an organization based in Germany. This report surveys stakeholders from 41 countries across the continent to derive key facts about eLearning, and potential expansion of the same in Africa. It was found that 71 per cent of those surveyed are now using ICT enhanced learning in their classrooms and 48 per cent use mobile phones for education. It was also found that the primary constraint for eLearning is lack of bandwidth. The key player most suitably placed to bring about favourable changes is the respective government of each country.
