A new project replacing unstable, one-room shacks with homes made using recycled plastic bottles is underway in Bolivia, with successful reviews. Empty bottles are collected and filled with sand to make bricks for new homes. These houses are better than thee shacks they replaced, and a documentary featuring these houses has been selected as a part of the ‘Viewfinder’ documentary series.
