India plans to increase annual milk output to 180 million litres, by 2021-22
| Under its National Dairy Plan, the government of India is all set to increase its annual milk production to 180 million litres by 2021-22. The current level of milk production is at 128 million litres. While India is already the largest producer of milk in the world, this projected increase is going to be at par with the demands of a growing population in the world. Read more here. |
