TB vaccine trial a disappointment

The much awaited new TB drug, tried for efficacy for the first time in more than forty years has proved ineffective as a TB booster shot. The BCG (Bacille Calmette-Guerin) vaccine for TB, used in the past 90 years will probably still be used as the new MVA85A was proven ineffective, according to results from a Lancet report.
