India’s new child survival plan

The Indian government is planning to bring stakeholders from both the private sector as well as the aid community together to reduce the rate of child mortality in the country. This will be achieved through the programme “A Strategic Approach to Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A) in India”, which will reach the urban slum population as well as vulnerable tribal populations in the country.
