India: Separate power supply for agriculture being mulled

The Indian government is planning to lay down separate electricity lines to provide uninterrupted power lines for the purposes of agriculture. The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) in India has already started collecting data to prepare an initial report on power consumption level and estimated expenditure. Read more here.
