Myanmar: Government promises that low income housing will be affordable
The Ministry of Construction in Myanmar is all set to make houses affordable for the lower tier of the country’s wage earners, by ensuring that it provides loans to the people for purchasing houses. This is directed at the people at the ‘grassroots’ level, putting in place a monthly repayment system for the low cost houses purchased. Read more here.
