India: Microfinance has grown significantly

According to a report published by MFIN, the Microfinance Institutions Network, the microfinance sector has bounced back in the 3^rd quarter of this fiscal. According to data collected from 41 members of MFIN, constituting 85 per cent of the microfinance sector in India, growth has been seen in the states of West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
