Portugal: Youngsters use microcredit to revive business
According to data from the National Association of the Right to Credit, as many as 174 businesses were granted loans as of last year. These loans helped create many jobs, and it was found that four out of ten companies funded through this microcredit were being run by people under the age of 30, mostly reviving businesses abandoned by previous owners.
