As many as 18 per cent of pregnant women in Mexico are likely to contract gestational diabetes. To help the women at risk, a new mHealth programme has been launched by the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation and Project HOPE. This programme will provide timely education and management information to the women. Through this effort, the organizations hope to reach as many as 1000 women in the lowest income bracket.
