Energy research project generating electricity from cooking stoves
Researchers at the Trinity College Dublin (TCD) recently concluded a research on biomass stoves in Malawi which have been equipped to generate enough electricity to power LED lights and charge mobile phones. This project was funded by the Irish Aid, and involved the integration of a thermoelectric generator with a cooking stove. Read more here.
