G20 includes increased support to the world’s smallholder farmers in its commitments

Among the several commitments that emerged as   an outcome of the G20, one was with regard to the supporting of smallholder   farmers, who produce more than half of the world’s food supply. This support   will include exploration of opportunities in the developing countries conducive to economic growth and job creation in the   farming community. Read more here.
