Panasonic’s solar LED lantern and charger is a part of the company’s campaign “Panasonic’s 100 Thousand Solar Lantern Project”. In 2012, the company supplied 2000 such lanterns to schools, medical facilities and microenterprises in Cambodia. In the plans now, are 5000 units for India, 3000 for Myanmar and 2000 to Africa.
