Agriculture in India – Low or no reward?
Farming in India may be more ‘open’ to all elements of climate than any other sector, but does not have access to open market. Most of the States in India prohibit sale of farm produce outside the government-mandated marketplace forcing underpriced sales and involvement of corrupt middlemen. Read more here.
