This workshop by UN FAO and IFAD is focusing on the latest initiatives, programmes and country case studies from the sub-Region and beyond to draw lessons, and adopt best practices. This will be done to extract the small holders of West African agriculture who produce almost 80 per cent of the needed food from the vicious cycle of low technology usage, dependence on traditional means for agriculture and uncompetitive and unsustainable food production systems.  Read more here.
