Africa: Agriculture needs CAADP’s help

According to UN Secretary –General and Executive of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), Abdoulie Janneh, the commitment of development partners for enhance agricultural practices in Africa has not had significant outcome yet. Janneh said that to develop, agriculture in Africa would need to be more market-oriented, integrated, and competitive, and this can happen only with African Union’s CAADP (Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme).
