Africa: IAP increases death rate
The World Bank has issued a warning against the increase in number of deaths projected in Africa as a result of use of unclean and inefficient cookstoves. According to the international organization, between 2000 and 2030, a total of 8.1 million premature deaths will occur among children and some 7.1 million premature deaths among adult women in SSA (sub-Saharan Africa).
