Africa: Researchers empower through cassava

Researchers from the Support for Agricultural Research and Development for Strategic Crops (SARD-SC) have kicked off a plan wherein activities to improve the productivity of cassava by at least 20 per cent, so as to increase farmer incomes is to be undertaken. Four countries will be main beneficiaries – DR Congo, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Zambia. Read more here.
