Increased demand for fuel due to inefficient cookstoves puts a pressure both on the environment as well as women and children who must collect fuel. Fuel like charcoal is expensive as well. This has brought 120 stakeholders from 15 African countries to increase scale and access to clean cookstoves through an enterprise based large scale dissemination of cookstoves.
