Bangladesh: The floating hospital for the poor

In Bangladesh, where people mostly live in villages on the banks of, or close to the banks of several criss-crossing rivers, healthcare provision to the rural poor through land would be difficult. This is why Jibon Tari, or the Boat of Life, a floating boat that has access to easy navigation among villages through the water channel has been successful in providing healthcare.
