Bangladesh: The problem of micronutrient deficiencies

A new survey supported by GAIN (Global   Alliance for Improved Nutrition), UNICEF, ICCDR-B (International Centre for   Diarrhoeal Diseases, Bangladesh) has found that micronutrient deficiency is a   plague for women, as well as children under the age of 5. This survey found   that almost half of the pre-school children and more than half of women are   deficient in a micro-nutrient, named, zinc. Read more here.
