This report by the IDB is an attempt to show the current status of broadband access and adoption in the region, as compared to what it should be so as to boost the region’s economic and social development rate. The group of companies which have made contributions to this report firmly believe that it is time for the LAC governments, development partners and the ICT/Broadband industry to work together to promote broadband adoption and access throughout the region.
