“China-style Obamacare”, how China wants to close the urban-rural gap of modern healthcare availability

In China, a new healthcare revolution is changing the way people save and get themselves treated during healthcare emergencies. The government’s new health insurance plan that covers almost half the patient’s healthcare costs is encouraging people to change how they save. According to a new study, 70% of rural patients who were referred to treatment in hospitals in the city did not get treatment simply because they could not afford it. With this reform, which aims to help poor rural families, a scenario change is in order. Read more here.
